Why Hydrotherapy?

Black silt (mud) is a curative organic mud originated from unpolluted protected forest reserves in Northern Europe. Akasuri – Korean Red Scrub
This is Sanctuary Spas version. Akasuri tones and restores vitality to skin by first relaxing and cleansing the pores of the body with a relaxing warm Vichy Treatment and skin brushing. Then any remaining bacteria, dirt, and dead skin cells are whisked away during a vigorous rub down that will leave you feeling remarkably smooth and clean. Akasuri, which is itself a Japanese word meaning ‘red’ (aka) and ‘to rub’ (suru). Though it may leave your skin looking a bit red at first (hence the “red scrub”), the brisk massage will promote increased circulation, stimulate the lymph system, and cleanse your skin as never before. 60 Minutes $90

In Thailand, round cotton bundles containing herbal mixtures were once the secret tools of ancient healers, and up until recently, could be obtained only from traditional healers of Thailand. Now, this herbal poultice is available at Sanctuary. A mentholated feeling reaches deep into sore aching muscles to provide relief. Pressure and kneading from the steam-heated bundle produces deep relaxation and stress relief. A final touch of oil and lotion are massaged to the body afterwards leaving you with soft, glowing skin. 75 Minutes $125
Rubato Detox
Based on an old Roman therapy, your body is oiled and wrapped to generate warmth. As this occurs, toxins which have been eliminated through the skin are removed using our version of the Roman technique. Afterwards, you’ll receive a brush and soap wash, followed by an application of soothing lotion. You will feel radiant from the inside out! 60 Minutes $120
